Supreme Court To Hear Oral Arguments On Same-Sex "Marriage"

Wbir.com reports: "The Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments Tuesday on the constitutionality of state bans on same-sex marriage. Knoxville couple Val Tanco and Sophy Jesty... are two of the plaintiffs bringing this case, joining other couples from four states that are part of the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Along with Tanco and Jesty, who live in Knoxville, are plaintiffs from Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. The nine-member high court will take up two questions: whether states may ban same-sex marriage and whether states may deny recognizing the marriage of a same-sex couple that was lawfully married in another state. The ruling, which is due by the end of the Court's term in late June, is expected to have historic consequences, as it has the potential to decide the legality - nationwide - of same-sex marriage. Thirty-seven states and the District of Columbia currently allow same-sex marriage. Tennessee is not one of those."...
